Full Artist Reveal Press Conference
We officially launched the Bangkok Art Biennale 2024, unveiling the theme Nurture Gaia and introducing 76 artists from Thailand and around the world. The event will take place from October 24, 2024, to February 25, 2025, at 11 vibrant venues across Bangkok, ranging from modern spaces to cultural landmarks.
We were thrilled to gather with curators, artists, advisors, ambassadors, press, and sponsors to celebrate this milestone. Key speakers shared insightful reflections:
Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, Founder of the Bangkok Art Biennale Foundation, emphasized art’s ability to foster peace and add cultural value.
Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, Chair of the Bangkok Art and Culture Center Foundation, praised artists as “warriors” shaping a better world.
Prof. Dr. Apinan Poshyananda, Chief Executive and Artistic Director of BAB, delved into Nurture Gaia and Thailand’s reverence for Mother Earth, highlighting the inclusion of diverse voices.
Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, underscored art as a key indicator of a city's prosperity.

พวกเราได้เปิดตัวงาน บางกอก อาร์ต เบียนนาเล่ 2024 อย่างเป็นทางการ ภายใต้ธีม “รักษา กายา” พร้อมเปิดตัวศิลปินจำนวน 76 คนทั้งจากประเทศไทยและทั่วโลก งานนี้จะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 24 ตุลาคม 2024 ถึง 25 กุมภาพันธ์ 2025 ในสถานที่จัดงานทั้งจาก 11 แห่งทั่วกรุงเทพฯ ซึ่งครอบคลุมพื้นที่แบบโมเดิร์นและสถานที่สำคัญทางวัฒนธรรม
เรารู้สึกยินดีเป็นอย่างมากที่ได้ร่วมงานกับเหล่าภัณฑารักษ์ ศิลปิน ที่ปรึกษา ทูต ผู้สื่อข่าว และผู้สนับสนุน เพื่อเฉลิมฉลองก้าวสำคัญครั้งนี้ โดยมีบุคคลสำคัญหลัก ๆ มาแบ่งปันแนวคิดที่น่าประทับใจดังนี้:

คุณกอบกาญจน์ วัฒนวรางกูร ประธานกรรมการมูลนิธิหอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร กล่าวชื่นชมศิลปินว่าเป็น “นักรบ” ที่เป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการก่อร่างสร้างโลกที่ดียิ่งขึ้น
ศ.ดร. อภินันท์ โปษยานนท์ ประธานอำนวยการและผู้อำนวยการศิลป์ของ BAB กล่าวถึงแนวคิด รักษา กายา และความเคารพของคนไทยต่อแผ่นดินแม่(พระแม่ธรณี) โดยเน้นการเปิดรับเสียงจากหลากหลายมุมมอง
คุณชัชชาติ สิทธิพันธุ์ ผู้ว่าราชการกรุงเทพมหานคร กล่าวถึงศิลปะว่าเป็นตัวบ่งชี้ความรุ่งเรืองของเมือง
