Lello Esposito, sculptor and painter, focuses his research on the relation between contemporary art and tradition, by conceiving and re-elaborating the symbols of Neapolitan culture: Pulcinella, mask, egg, skull, volcano, San Gennaro, horn. Internationally renowned for his work on archetypes, symbols and cultural imagination of Naples, he likes to define himself as a “cult artist”; over his long career he significantly contributed to the creation of new interpretative and representative forms of traditional Neapolitan icons.
