Be part of a unique listening workshop at the Bangkok Art Biennale 2024! Discover Suskewiet Visions at Museum Siam, where you’ll learn to listen to the sounds of nature and use traditional wooden sticks to record different sound categories.

Inspired by the European folkloristic tradition of bird count sports, this workshop was co-developed by artists David Shongo and Filip Van Dingenen, with Filip leading the session. The practice draws from medieval customs where black wooden sticks were used to mark birdcalls during finch competitions in Southwest Flanders.

The workshop lasts 30 minutes and includes a 15-minute introduction to the artwork. Spaces are limited to 12 participants, so don’t miss out
