George K is a self-taught artist who started his career post the tsunami of 2004 in which he was a survivor. That incident that changed his life and career is seen in emotive exuberance in his work. He is a fellow of the institute of chartered accountants of India and was a merchant banker. He is a writer and a poet and his art is an interplay of forms with the written word, as poetry into graffiti or writings onto painting, photograph or sculpture. His work is often thematic and through sculpture, painting or photography they express the emotions of daily life.
He says:
My motive to paint,
Is a passion to taint,
A canvas with hues,
Of life’s emotions and blues,
A tapestry of memories,
Of failures and victories,
An outpouring of pain,
Into an emotional drain,
A mental agony.
Into a visual ecstasy.
His sculptures are fiberglass hand crafted forms, painted with oil or acrylic. The written word is in the overlay of paint or print. His work has been exhibited at galleries in India, Paris, London, New York, Sydney and Singapore. His studio is in Chennai, India.

แรงจูงใจของผมในการเขียนภาพ
คือแรงปรารถนาสร้างรอยเปื้อน
ผืนผ้าใบหลากสีสัน
ของอารมณ์และความเศร้าหมองของชีวิต
พรมผนังแห่งความทรงจำ
ของความล้มเหลวและชัยชนะ
ความเจ็บปวดไหลหลั่ง
จนกระทั่งอ่อนล้า
ความรวดร้าวในจิตใจ
ในภาพแห่งความปิติ
ผลงานประติมากรรมของเขาเป็นไฟเบอร์กลาสปั้นเป็นรูปด้วยมือ ทาสีน้ำมันหรืออะครีลิค ข้อความเขียนอยู่ในชั้นสีหรือภาพพิมพ์ที่ทับอยู่ ผลงานของเขาจัดแสดงตามหอศิลป์ต่าง ๆ ทั้งที่ประเทศอินเดีย กรุงปารีส กรุงลอนดอน นครนิวยอร์ค นครซิดนีย์และประเทศสิงคโปร์ สตูดิโอของเขาอยู่ที่นครเจนไน ประเทศอินเดีย
