Jedsada Tangtrakulwong graduated from The Slade School of Fine Art, University College London. In 2005, Jedsada started working on a site-specific installation, focus on the architectural structure of each location, and then shifted to the social cultural, and political contexts. He usually collaborated with people from different areas of expertise. In some of his installations, viewers are an essential part of the installation. His work has been exhibited both local and international such as “Swing, Hill” (Secret Archipelago, Palais de Tokyo, Paris, 2015); “Downfall” (Ties of History: Art in Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Museum of Manila, 2018). Jedsada lives and works in Chiang Mai, Thailand
เจษฎา ตั้งตระกูลวงศ์ ศึกษาขั้นปริญญาตรีที่ San Francisco Art Institute ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา และปริญญาโทที่ The Slade School of Fine Art สหราชอาณาจักร เจษฎาเริ่มต้นทํางานในลักษณะของการทดลองที่ข้ามสื่อข้ามศาสตร์ จนนํามาสู่การทํางานรูปแบบอินสตอลเลชั่นแบบเจาะจงพื้นที่ในปี 2548 ผลงานของเจษฎาปรับเปลี่ยนไปตามพื้นที่ที่จัดแสดง เริ่มจากการให้ผู้ชมได้สํารวจโครงสร้างทางสถาปัตยกรรมของห้องนิทรรศการ ก่อนที่จะปรับเปลี่ยนบริบทการทํางานไปสู่ประเด็นทางด้านสังคม วัฒนธรรม การเมือง ธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม เจษฎามักจะทํางานร่วมกับคนหลากหลายอาชีพ ผลงานส่วนใหญ่จะคํานึงถึงผู้ที่มาชมผลงาน โดยทําให้ผู้ชมกลายมาเป็นองค์ประกอบที่ สําคัญของผลงาน
ผลงานของเจษฎาจัดแสดงทั้งในประเทศไทยและต่างประเทศ เช่น เหวี่ยง และ เนิน Secret Archipelago, Palais de Tokyo, ปารีส (2558); ล้มทั้งยืน Ties of History: Art in Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Museum of Manila, มะนิลา (2563)
