Nick Dudka is an internationally acclaimed Thangka artist whose career spans over three decades. He embarked on his artistic journey with a formal education in Western art at renowned institutions within the former USSR. Seeking a deeper understanding of ancient Tibetan art, Dudka pursued extensive studies in Buddhist history and philosophy across Russia, Mongolia, Tibet, Nepal, and India. Under the tutelage of the esteemed Thangka master, Gen Sangey Yeshe, he earned his diploma, signifying his mastery in both the creation and teaching of Thangka painting.

Currently, Dudka is affiliated with the Institute of Oriental Studies at the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow, where he contributes as a Thangka painting teacher. His commitment to the preservation and global promotion of Thangka art is evident through his international exhibitions, master classes, and lectures.

Nick Dudka is a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts, an Honored Artist of the Republic of Buryatia (Far East of Russia), and an active participant in various International Art Associations. His Thangka’s grace the collections of numerous museums, galleries, and private collectors worldwide.
